It’s official now.  Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats have launched an official impeachment inquiry into the President of the United States, Donald Trump.

Since then, we’ve seen countless different stories, transcripts, and people get into the mix of things.  Most notably, the Trump Administration released the transcript of the President’s call with the leader of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky.

Shortly after, the original “whistleblower” document detailing the concerned party’s second-hand knowledge of the call was released to the public and the media spin from both sides started.

Those loyal to Trump and his administration say that the “whistleblower” complaint is riddled with errors and doesn’t present anything new that wasn’t on the transcript released by Trump and his team.  Not to mention that the “whistleblower” in question wasn’t even present during the Ukraine call in question.  The Trump Administration is quick to point out that the “whistleblower” is sharing inaccurate second-hand information.

On the other hand, the Democrats are pointing to the phone call with Zelensky as proof of a quid pro quo.  They say it’s clear that Trump wanted a political rival, Joe Biden, investigated by Ukraine in an effort to take him down.  The Democrats also point out that it’s very suspicious that aid money that was supposed to go to Ukraine suddenly got halted shortly after Trump talked to Zelensky.

So now, given the facts (and the spin), we turn the question over to you!

Is Trump guilty of trying to derail a political opponent via a foreign country, or is there simply not enough evidence there for an impeachment proceeding to move forward?
